Direct Appeal to International Medical Community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Brothers and Sisters,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We, Myanmar medical doctors, have been bearing the brunt of global Covid-19 pandemic and providing much needed medical care to our patients despite limited resources and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, Myanmar military has ruthlessly staged a coup d\u2019etat and installed themselves as military government, putting their own interests above our vulnerable population, who have been facing medical, economic, and social hardship during global pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the military regime lacks any political legitimacy, we do not recognize them as our government. We refuse to obey any order from the illegitimate military regime. Who has demonstrated they do not have any regards for our poor patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will only listen and follow the instruction from our democratically elected government, headed by State counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyl and President U Win Myint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global community and global institutions are apparently powerless now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We directly appeal to our brothers and sisters in global medical community, who understand our physical, emotional and mental hardships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please stand together with us. Please share this news forward. Please pressure your government not to recognize the illegitimate military regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
